Participated in a peaceful demonstration in Copenhagen on 11th March, 2011 to show support and solidarity with the people of Middle East & North Africa who are fighting for democracy in their countries.
Although the crowd was in few thousands, it still looked full of people who shared the same dream: Peace and democracy in the world and no wonder Pakistan was also mentioned there.
It was my great privilege to be in the center of Copenhagen
listening to my friend Wojoud from Yemen. Not only did she speak eloquently, but I also enjoyed the way she connected with massive audience in front of her. As a testimony to this, Amnesty Denmark’s video begins from her words, “and we as the youth will bring the change”. Well done Wojoud, you made us proud!!:)
