Speak and stand up for Pakistan!
We know that vast majority of Pakistanis are peace-loving and hospitable, it is something which is a fact, and we all say wherever we travel. Those watching foreign media thousand of miles away and those who have not been to our country may not know it until they visit this beautiful land.
Sadly, minority of terrorists have hijacked us, and the
majority of peace-loving people have been suppressed and those who have spoken
against the forces of evil have been targeted. Terrorists are using acts of
barbarism to disintegrate Pakistan .
These coward perpetrators HAVE NO RELIGION!
Be it through creating sectarian violence,
killing our brave politicians, young peace activists, teachers, doctors, law enforcement personnel & institutions
or foreign NGO staff, they want to tarnish Pakistan’s image as a progressive
country and label it as the most dangerous place in the world.
On the other hand, ironically, political parties themselves are apparently divided and have their own vested agenda rather than giving right direction to the nation, they have failed to even come at one platform against extremism & terrorism when it was most expected from them.
Amidst this tumultuous situation, there seems to be only 2
options left for common Pakistanis now: First one is that every peace-loving Pakistani
must strongly renounce extremism in all of its forms and manifestations and speak and stand up side by side with fellow countrymen affected by it irrespective of sect, faith, color, language or creed. We have to speak against this barbarism,
reject it, and fully disown it till we eradicate this menace from our
society. Media MUST play an unbiased role. All so-called politicians and public servants who serve their interest rather than public must be identified and brought to the court rooms. We must speak our mind and make each vote a valuable one in the upcoming election. In this first option, power is in our (common people) hands if we hold it tightly as ONE.
The second option is to be just remaining
silent spectators.Unfortunately, later one has not helped us before; it is not
helping now and won’t help in future. It is not the option, but to go for
former one in a nonviolent way. This is an urgent need if we want to survive collectively as a nation! If we do so together then we will also survive individually. As I write these lines, it is already early morning and I am awake, are you?
Watan kay Bharaktay Sharare Bhuja Day
Issay phir akhuwat ka gulshan bana de
Mein amno
Ilaahi Main Tujhse Duaa Mangta Hoon!
Sincerely,

Carpe Diem
According to an ancient Mayan calendar the world is coming
to an end tomorrow. While this may be doomsayers claim, it has raised an
important question that what would we do if we know that we only had one day to
live or the world would really end tomorrow? Well, live like there is no tomorrow, so
for all who live coming day, ‘Carpe Diem’

Traveling to Nepal
South Asia has immense potential to grow as a region and we need to foster cross border relations at people to people level. Realizing the significance of our region, I will be embarking on a peace journey from 26 Nov-13 Dec, 2012 to Nepal, one of the important countries in this region. I will be a attending a peace training program in the country of Mount Everest. As a Pakistani, this will be my first visit to any South Asian country. I look forward to share my Nepal experiences soon!

Real Heroes of Pakistan

The real hero of this country is the grass-root worker, a common man who does not own a computer and have no idea of face book.
After an activity in my training session today, among the participants, one of the workers spoke about something which mesmerized and inspired me than ever before! This hidden Hero of Pakistan told me that he and his friends after every few weeks spend some time for a voluntary work from cleaning beach to planting trees etc.
One day he and his friends went to one of the major roads of
Story doesn’t end here friends! Guess what? Number of cars passing by stopped and passengers and drivers stepped out of them and they all started cleaning the shoes of the policemen who are labeled everyday as the most corrupted in our society. With the round of applause, I promised this worker that I will share his true story wherever possible for me and request the same from you if you are inspired by it.
Thank You!

Stop Palestinian Genocide!!
This human barbarism is lot worst than recent natural
calamities!! Images coming from Gaza
are horrific and alarming!! All limits have been crossed with abusing
international human rights laws and deliberately targeting children in Gaza which has only one
tactical purpose and that is the genocide of Palestinians.
This bloody massacre
in Gaza must
end with immediate, comprehensive and durable ceasefire! World MUST act now to
stop this mass killing before its gets too late! Prayers for peace!!!
