I hope that you will all enjoy my slide show. These pictures are of Germany, Malaysia and Czech Republic. At all these places, I had a wonderful time! It was learning with fun and I enjoyed every bit of it! I thank Allah for giving me this opportunity to visit these places. A very special thanks to my parents and family, without their support and encouragement I would have not been there.
Shortly you will be able to view my comments, views and reports regarding my trip to these countries and how I tried to remove misconceptions about Pakistan. In this link, you will also be able to read my comments on issues concerning to Pakistan and world.
So keep visiting this blog for new updates!

Visit To Malaysia
Shortly I will be visiting Malaysia to attend yet another conference, this time on civilization of peace. I've heard that Malaysia is truly Asia! I can only confirm this when I will see myself.

More of Germany
Ilmenau is a small town in the middle of green mountains & forests. It has a population of not more than 65 thousand. People are friendly and enjoy their life to fullest. University campus has all the modern facilities. There is no comparison between our universities and what they have in Germany keeping in mind that the university I visited is a very small one with 8,000 students.
Through out the conference it was fun with different lectures, groupwork, concerts and parties. Germany is very expensive for Pakistanis so no chance to buy any thing, if you do so than it means you are a mad person!
Frankfurt has many skyscrapers, parks, river, trams and railway system. Its airport is impressive, there are two terminals and both are connected by skyline train. If you have an opportunity to visit frankfurt, don't miss to see Rover, the main city, its main railway station. Germany has all kinds of trains, the best I liked is ICE train. We came across with plenty of Pakistanis in just 5 hours time. I was proud to see Pakistani mangoes and jams in Germany.
If I get another opportunity, I will definitely visit Germany again, but next time to see west Germany which is more developed and economically stronger than east Germany!

Comments of my Group Leader
Hi Bilal,
I hope this time I wrote your name right.
It was really nice to meet you and I saw, you have good ideas in your mind and you can explain them very well. I will not be surprised, if one day you'll be the President of Pakistan!

Projecting Pakistan's True Image in Germany
My aim was to represent Pakistan's true image and I think with my discussions and arguments I did achieve some sort of success. I tried to remove misconceptions about Pakistan and projected true image of my country in Germany.
What does “education“ mean? Is it limited to school times or do we talk about lifelong learning? We often think of concepts like “society of knowledge”, but is today's society really aware of the responsibility for education? The high rate of illiteracy is well known, but how can we make education accessible to everyone and how can we give people the same educational opportunities?
Together with the invited international participants, professors of the Ilmenau Technical University, the lecturers, the fellow citizens of Ilmenau, I had an incredible opportunity to discuss this all in my workgroup "education and politcs".
Germany was an experience of life time, I can not forget its beauty and its people. A blend of learning with fun made it an unforgettable experience for me!
